What is “Settler Colonialism?”
When people talk about Palestine [they] often they use the word “conflict,” but our situation is not a conflict because a conflict implies two people fighting about something which is not really the case in Palestine. Others might think this is more like a religious “conflict” between Jews and Muslims which it is also not. It’s not a religious conflict.
And one word which I really don’t like at all is when people tell me its complicated. Because I know when people say it’s complicated they really want to avoid talking about it. I never hear the word complicated when it comes to Ukraine for example. Actually if I want to find a word to describe the situation in Palestine, there is no better word than settler colonialism.
